It was announced on March 24, 2009 that Twilight’s star Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen, got injured on the set of New Moon. The Twilight cast was in Vancouver, Canada and was shooting a scene when a gust of violent winds tore off a heavy metal sign and slammed right into the back of Robert Pattinson’s head. Rob lad on the ground very still while he was passed out. After the cast and crew members realized what had happened, they ran quickly over to him and called the ambulance. Rob finally got up from off the ground looking very disoriented but when the paramedics arrived, they announced that he was absolutely fine. He just had slight lump on his head. The director immediately cancelled filming for the day and sent Rob back to the hotel to rest.
Of course, Rob ignored the fact that director Chris Weitz told him to go back to the hotel and rest for a couple of days and came back the next day to continue filming. So for all you Robert Pattinson fans out there like me, Rob will be absolutely fine and he is continuing filming New Moon!
